World Vision Canada is an international Christian humanitarian relief and development organization. Their focus is on children, the poor and oppressed of the world. Their goal is to create permanent, positive changes in their lives and communities.

The causes of poverty are complex. So too are the solutions. Over the course of more than 50 years, World Vision Canada has developed comprehensive strategies for disaster relief response, long- term development programs and advocacy to address poverty and its consequences.

When natural disasters, war and famine threaten families and communities, generous Canadians make it possible for World Vision to be there within 24 hours, bringing emergency supplies. These emergency initiatives often evolve into long-term programs that promote sustainable development in the community.

In over 300 projects around the world, World Vision Canada is partnering with families and communities in area development programs (ADP). ADPs provide such things as improved agricultural systems, clean water, improved sanitation, better nutrition, small business loans to promote economic security in villages or towns, construction of schools, teacher training and health care programs.

EEA currently works with World Vision across Canada in kiosk programs and face to face canvassing programs to assist World Vision with new child sponsorship acquisition. EEA has helped World Vision find sponsors for thousands of needy children throughout the world, and is honoured to work with such a wonderful organization.
